It seems like ages have
gone by without seeing you all. I know my busy schedule is making me neglect my
blog, but today at last, I took out time especially for this post. And after
this one, I’ll be posting about my monthly and yearly favorites too.

Whenever I buy a lotion,
my focus is to buy something that is fast absorbing, pleasantly fragrant, and
long-lasting and something that does not leave that annoying greasiness behind.
The first time, I came upon the locally available brand “Body Luxuries,” I was
in awe with their too goody body splashes as they performed very well, lasted a
reasonable amount of time and they were generally the dupes of “Bath & Body
Works Body Mists,” now who says no to that?

November was so much
enjoyable as I spent most of my time in my aunt’s house and believe me, I
adored living there, just away from the confines of my rather boring home: D, plus
spending time in someone else’s house is movies time, and this month I watched
The Hunger Games and Catching fire (The Part 2). The first edition was attention-grabbing
but Part 2 was rather tedious and seemed just unconditionally dragging on.
With the winter finally setting in the real sense in
many parts of the world, this is the right time to actually check some of the
best trends of the season.
Finally, today I got the
time to review this Oriflame the One 5 in 1 Color Stylist Lipstick in “306711 Red
Passion.” Have you noticed the sudden chill in the weather? It sure makes me go
crazy with cold hands and feet.
Can we take the time to
look at this prettiness and applaud, before I continue with the review? This
product managed to make people ever so curious and the review has been the most
long awaited one. I was kind of full of activity so, scheduling an elongated,
lengthy post was difficult for me but today I bring you an insight into the Elf
Geometric Eye shadow Book which was not purchased by me but given to me as a
gift.

This month whizzed by
without me noticing or getting a chance to sum up the uglier and happier sides
of it. My head has been engrossed in studies, freelance work and house work.
October has surely squeezed the life out of me and I sit here limp with
exhaustion but still have the enthusiasm to natter away with you all. I didn’t
get time to wear much makeup and only these were the items I used every day,
plus my love for that red pout is listed below.

Hello Everyone! I’m
excited to tell you that the lovely Fatima Janan from fanaasbeauty.blogspot.com
tagged me to answer these questions. Thank you very much Fatima for keeping me
in your thoughts.
I have been harping
about this toner since the time I bought it. Today at last, I nicked out some
time to divulge in its glorious praises. When I was shopping via online, I was
doubtful to give this a go but the phrase “Spritzing Rose Toner” really caught
my eye as I love Rose scented products and spritzing sounds so easy to me, whenever
on the go. Head down to read what more I have to blather about.
The weather has taken a
pleasant turn, not yet fall and not winter either, and the implications of
sickness has accompanied it too and as I write this post, I feel heady, blurry
eyed with a runny nose. Sounds pathetic, I know. I feel that the next day I’ll
be fully ill, I hope not but….. This month I have been trying some new makeup
items which I recently purchased and my September Favorites will not surprise
you.

I always live by the
quote mentioned below:
“Every day, strive to refine your contagious shine, and
shake the nonsense offered by those who lack the will to polish-up from
within.” T.F. Hodge.
You can’t have a glow-y skin unless you don’t struggle for
it. Maintaining that summer glow needs a bit of improvement in the consumption
of your food and fluids. Summer is leaving us and colder months are ahead,
bringing us dry, flaky and unappealing skin which we think we can’t make
refined and polished. Fret not! I’m here to save you from turning into a cactus
and will recommend some of my tips and tricks to preserve that summer skin radiance.

I have been waiting months to have my
mitts on this mascara but I don’t know why I never got the chance to buy it and
whenever the opportunity came, I had to suffer the disappointment of hearing
that this gem was out of stock, the phrase we all hate. Finally, after spotting
it on daraz.pk website, I decided to bit the bullet and purchase it. Man! I am
not dissatisfied at all because this mascara is all I ever wished for. Scroll
down to read the rest of the review.

Hiya Lovelies,
Today I’m going to share with you a post I’ve
been meaning to do since several days. Recently I have been eyeing up some
goodies on Daraz.pk and bought them in a jiffy because those products are
relatively new on Daraz.pk site and are pretty affordable. This month I bought
a Lipstick, a face powder, mascara and a rose toner. I have only two mascaras
now in my collection and I needed a new one badly because my Essence Big Lashes
had been with me for a year and has almost dried out. Below is my purchases
list with their prices mentioned.

Are you waiting to
amp up your way towards a street and want to flaunt your locks but you are
afraid to do so? Because you think that your hair is too short, too thin and
too dull looking. Then folks, what are you waiting for? Let me introduce you to
CC hair extensions. Now, now, don’t back away by the word “hair extensions” as
they can become your next best friend when you are too fussed up about your
hair and want to start prepping up for a party.

Hello Readers!
I have seen these Rivaj UK body mists in many shops but
never got attracted to them because frankly speaking I have never liked Rivaj's
makeup products. Recently my body luxuries body mist was finished so instead of
going out myself, I asked my brother to get me a body mist and surprisingly he
bought me this.

Hello Gals,
I hope you all are doing good. Previous month I didn't post my monthly favorites because I was very busy and hadn't the heart to post something. Today, I bring you my August Favorites. As you all know, that we are facing an extremely hot and humid weather conditions and indulging in lotions and potions is totally out of the question, that is why I only stuck with powder formulated products in my stash but thank God, September has begun. At least I am very happy and waiting earnestly for a change in weather.
This bronzer was given to me by one of my aunts. I'm very thankful to her as this is the first bronzer in my makeup collection. I have always stayed away from bronzers because I think Asian skins do not need bronzing as we already are very brown and tanned. Head down to read my review.
I’m here again with the part 2 of these series. The
reason I started these series is to let you know about the most raved about
beauty/makeup products among beauty bloggers. These products are fail safe and can be relied upon if you are in a
muddle, thinking where to get started when it comes to buying makeup. I love
writing up these series and I hope these series will help you in getting to
know about beauty more deeply. Head down, to read which products made it to my
part 2 post.
I hope you had a lovely time celebrating Independence
Day! Well, on this Eid, I received a gift from one of my lovely aunts and the
present included an eye shadow palette and a makeup kit by Claire’s Cosmetics,
which I’m going to review today. I was super excited to try something from
Claire’s as this brand was recently launched in Karachi, Pakistan and my fellow
bloggers praised the brand for its good quality and affordable products.
However, I live in Lahore so going to Karachi to buy Claire’s products was
almost impossible for me and thanks to my aunt who gifted me this makeup kit.
Now head down to read the rest of my review!
I love rains in summer as they cool down the weather and we all get a
break from the persistent heat. But when monsoon really starts kicking in
Pakistan, from July-September, the heat and humidity become unbearable.
Unfortunately, in our country, summer cannot be enjoyed to the fullest
due to the shortage of electric supply and the continuous load-shedding leads
to further annoyance. This takes a toll on our skin, hair as well as other life
issues. That is why I am going to share with you some of my tips, to how to
makes these unbearable months, bearable.

Hello my dear fellas,
I'm back and ready to take on my blogging. These few weeks which I've spent without internet were very busy and boring because I had nothing to do except looking after the house. It was all about moving furniture, arranging the house, dusting and cleaning, all the fuss that is related with house shifting. Finally I have settled down and I'm glad to be back.
I'm thinking of starting a series in which I would update you about the most raved about Makeup Products among #beautybloggers. I just think it is an interesting way to build awareness among people and so whenever they buy a product they can look up these recommendations.
Hi my lovely readers,
I was in search of a new scrub because my St Ives Apricot Scrub is almost done with. The Petal Fresh brand has always been in my mind, I don't know why but the cheap price attracted me. So I bought the Petal Fresh Apricot & Aloe Whitening Facial Scrub. Head down to read my thoughts.
Hello Everyone,
I hope you all are well. Today I'm going to talk about my Current Skincare Routine. But before beginning I would like to tell you that my skin type is dry/normal and is acne-prone. My skin reacts differently at times as it can be too oily or too dry depending on the weather and it has a tendency to look dehydrated and flaky at times. But thankfully my skin is not at its worse, as mostly in teenage life, teenagers do suffer from acne.
Hi Pals,
Today I'm going to review the St Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Moisturizer. I have a dry/normal skin type that can sometimes become too oily and too dry depending on the weather. Also my skin is acne prone and if proper dose of water is not taken and moisturization is not done, then my skin can look really dehydrated and flaky. However, this moisturizer is claimed to be good for oily skins, so I was a little curious to find out how it would work for my skin as this moisturizer is so much praised.
Price
I bought it for 475 PKR from Al Fatah. You can get it from all leading stores in Pakistan and you can also purchase it from just4girls.pk
Claims
St Ives is dedicated to bringing you the best of nature with formulas that delight the senses as they leave your skin with a soft, fresh feel. We understand the little everyday choices we make help to better your life. That's why St Ives is a formulater of quality products.
* Non-Comedogenic
* Dermatologist Tested
* Visibly reduces appearance of fine lines & wrinkles.
* Formulated with Collagen & Elastin proteins.
Key Ingredient
Natural Safflower Seed Oil
Packaging
This product comes in a 283g white tub with a cap. I wish it came in a tube because tubs are messy to work with, are unhygenic and not travel friendly. However, I'm really pleased with the generous quantity because this is going to last me a good two months. The tub feels sturdy and the cap shuts tightly.
Consistency
This moisturizer is white in color and almost feels like a whipped creme in texture. The moisturizer isn't very thick, rather it feels silky and lightweight when touched. It spreads easily wherever you want to massage it.
Scent
It has a very mild pleasant scent that reminds me of roses. The scent vanishes after application.
My Thoughts
Now, this moisturizer is basically a wrinkle fighter. I don't even have come of age to get a wrinkle but still prevention is better than cure, right? When I use this moisturizer, it vanishes into my skin really quickly without having to rub for hours. My face feels smooth, soft and dare I say, healthy. Yes, this moisturizer provides me a natural glow which I love and keeps me moisturized throughout the day. I have noticed that some moisturizers wear off at the end of the day and make me look dry, dull and lack lustre but this sweet(y) doesn't do that. It is a very feather(y) light moisturizer that is perfect for this spring cum summer weather but I wouldn't recommend it for using it in extreme cold weather as it's moisturizing power is not that heavy to keep severe dryness or flakiness at bay. Overall I would give 5/5 to this moisturizer and would recommend everyone to use it. It does not contain parabens and does not feel heavy on the skin. In my opinion this is the best moisturizer I have found in such an affordable price tag. You wouldn't be disappointed and I promise you will get your money's worth.
Recommendation
To everyone whether you have a dry skin or an oily skin, it works for all skin types.
Would I Repurchase?
Yes. I have fallen in love with this.

Hiya Flowers,
This month has gone quickly. I love March because of my birthday and above all spring. I love flowers and yearn to have a whiff of them almost everyday. Ok prick the dream(y) balloon, we have some serious matter at hand and that is to discuss my March Favorites.
Makeup Revolution Blush "Hot" PKR 225.
Yes I have included this lovely again in my favorites because simply the color looks too flattering on me and gives me those natural pink healthy cheeks which honestly speaking, every girl craves for, then dears grab this cheap but effective blusher. Check my full review here
Sweet Touch Lipstick "793" PKR 250.
I bought this lipstick on a whim. It's quite a daring pink that obviously I wouldn't wear on an everyday basis. But I have been wearing it as a stain with a lip balm underneath to buff away any cracks and Man! It looks absolutely beautiful and natural. A perfect shade for this transition period. Check my full review here
Bh Cosmetics Pink A Dot Powder Brush PKR 2900 whole set.
I thought my angled blush brush from this set was the only master of applying blush but instead I have found the jack of all trades and that being the powder brush from this set. I use it to apply my powder, buff my bb cream to hide any streaking and apply my blush and I'm good to go. Love this brush. Check my full review here
St Ives Green Tea Blemish Control Gel Cleanser PKR 495
This smells really good and herbal-ly. I use it everyday and I'm noticing my acne spots fading and my skin getting clearer. I really like this cleanser. Check my full review here
St Ives Collagen Elastin Moisturizer PKR 475
I'm not sure about this moisturizer. I love it but fail to describe the brilliance of this moisturizer. I would say I never thought that such an affordable moisturizer can work wonders but it does and I'm glad I picked this up. Review will be up soon.
Crush By David Archuleta
I've been listening to this song the whole month and I'm obsessed. I never get tired of listening to this song and would recommend it to you if you are feeling a bit moody.
So that's it for now folks. These were the items I used in the month of march.

Hello beauties,
We are always on the lookout for a perfect product which would give us that beautiful clear skin. Well, I have found something that my skin is loving at the moment and that is the St Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Gel Cleanser. Before I go on further, let me tell you that my skin is dry/normal and I get a few pimples here and there which frustratingly leave behind spots due to my silly habit of scratching them.
Price
I bought it for 495 PKR from Al Fatah.
It is available from all leading stores and you can also purchase it from just4girls.pk
Packaging
It comes in a 200ml clear plastic bottle with a pump dispenser which is great and hygienic. I love the simple but decent packaging. However due to its big size, it isn't travel friendly.
Consistency
It says on the bottle that it is a gel cleanser, but in reality the consistency is a lot thinner than a gel and hence is runny. This cleanser is very light green in color.
Scent
Oh, I love the scent. It is fresh, tangy and very herbal-ly. It does smell of green tea and a bit like jasmine. The scent is not overpowering, I think that it won't bother sensitive noses.
My Thoughts
This cleanser lathers very nicely and you need a pea sized amount to work into a lather. After washing my face with this cleanser, my skin feels dry and tight but not too much. I've heard people claiming that this cleanser is for oily skins and yes that's absolutely true but the reason I love it, is my acne spots have started fading and my pimples were gone after a day or two. I don't know how but it kind of dries up the pimples and my skin looks very clear. I do moisturize my skin thoroughly after using this and then everything settles down. My face has never looked this clean before and I absolutely adore using this cleanser everyday because this is the only product I've found that in actual gets rid of pimples. I'm loving this product. Also in summers this product will come very useful as one likes to have a mattified complexion in summers and this does exactly that. I didn't face any problem with this cleanser and it is formulated without parabens which is awesome. Also this product contains Salicylic Acid which everyone knows combats acne. Overall I would say this is a great cleanser for those who want clean, clear and matte skin. I would give 4.5/5 to this product.
Recommendation
If you want a cleanser that isn't heavy on the pocket and does a great job of getting rid of pimples then buy it.

Have you tried this cleanser? Which cleanser are you currently loving?
This is a special post as it's my birthday today. We don't celebrate birthday in a traditional manner but still I got a few presents which I can't wait to show you. But before going on further, my brother lifted the online shopping ban from me because of my birthday and also gave me some cash which I'm almost bubbling inside to spend on makeup obviously.
Three Unstitched Suits
I got three unstitched suits, one from my mother, one from my Phuppo and one from my Khala. I just can't wait to take them to the tailor and have them stitched the way I want.
Bh Cosmetics Pink A Dot 11pcs Brush Set
Now this was a very early birthday present given to me by my brother. I requested him to get me this and he did. This brush set was worth an investment. You can read my review here
Shoes
I love wedges and hence my wish was fulfilled by another Khala of mine and I'm so thankful to her. I love these shoes already.
Books and Sunglasses
This was given to me by a sweet friend of mine. I got three books of Danielle Steele, one of Sandra Brown and the last one of Jackie Collins. I can't wait to read and review them. These sunglasses are super cute.
Rivaj lip pencils, a cute mirror and jewelry
I also received these from a friend of mine. I love the two sets of earrings, one necklace and a bracelet which she gave me. The Rivaj pencils are very pretty and the mirror comes very handy.
Roses
And can you spot those roses in the background? My brother brought me these from our very own garden and dear me, it made my day.
Ok, so these were the things I received and each one of these are very close and dear to me. I'm looking forward to buy makeup myself to fulfill my craving.
I hope you liked this post and don't forget to comment below.

Hello buddies,
I hope you all are doing good and really keeping up with your skincare routines. I've been buying Freeman masks for quite sometime and all have been peel offs. This month I wanted to purchase the ones without having to peel off but my family loves peel offs so much that they forced me to stick to my old ways and hence I purchased a peel off mask
again.
Price
I bought it for PKR 325 from Al Fatah.
Claims
A super-cooling, skin-quenching mask that gently peels away impurities that can cause skin to be rough and dull. Contains Cucumber Extract and Aloe to soothe while moisturizing, ensuring skin feels soft and silky-smooth after every use. Perfect for normal to combination skin.
To Use
Apply evenly to face, avoiding eye area. Leave on 5-10 minutes or until dry. Gently peel off mask. Rinse with warm water.
Packaging
It comes in a 150ml green colored squeeze(y) tube with a flip flop cap. Nothing captivating but to tell you I love tubes a lot because they look so cute even though they are a bit messy to work with. The tube is secure, the cap shuts tightly and there is no problem of leakage, in other words, it is travel friendly.
Consistency
It has a thick gel like consistency that spreads evenly onto the skin without having to struggle hard.
Scent
Now this may put off some people but this smells exactly like cucumbers which I'm not really a fan of(it is mild though, nothing overpowering). On a good note the scent vanishes when you apply this mask on your face.
My Thoughts
I hate peel offs because they feel very tacky and irritating especially when the skin starts tightening. I have a problem with peel offs then that doesn't mean you would to, because everyone is different. However, I apply this mask on my face with my fingers and wait for 15 to 20 minutes for it to dry completely. After that I take my mask off and voila, my face looks all clean, fresh and a little dry which after sometime disappears and my skin looks like I've just had a facial. This mask is really great for the price it comes in. It refreshes the skin, tightens my pores and reduces the appearance of my blemishes which I'm really concerned about. I haven't noticed any breakouts after using this mask, to put into better words, I haven't had any nasty experiences with this mask. I don't know how but upon application this mask gives a cooling effect which in the winter is a downer but in the summers it is a winner. All in all I'm very happy about this mask and somehow I feel almost pleased to have picked this mask from a trusted brand. The cons I've found is the unpleasant scent, this mask does not dry very quickly and if the mask gets stuck in your hair then it is quite a struggle to take it off. Overall this mask gets a 4/5 from me and this mask does not contain any Parabens.
Recommendation
To everyone

Hello Fellas,
This post is quite picture heavy and today I'm going to review these Harmony Fruity Soaps which I've been thinking to review for quite sometime. I mean these soaps are so good that dedicating a post to these beauties is necessary. I bought these soaps from Al Fatah for PKR 42 each. These soaps come in different fruit versions and I'm going to go through each of them separately. I love their packaging and their fun colors. They weigh 150g and these soaps do not contain harmful ingredients.
Claims
A blend of moisturizer and aloe vera extract keep your skin moist. Enriched with natural fruit extract which contains vitamins, makes your skin feel smooth and soft. The exclusive fruit fragrance leaves natural freshness and scent.
Strawberry Soap
This one is my favorite from the entire bunch. It is colored reddish pink whereas in the picture, it looks more neon and red. The smell is amazing, exactly like strawberry candies and I really enjoy it when in the shower.
Peach Soap
This smells very light but nice. Perfect for those who have sensitive noses. It does smell of peaches but in an artificial sort of way. It is light peach pinkish colored, very pretty in real life.
Mango Soap
Ahh, mangoes! This does smell of mangoes in a very light way. I really like the smell. It has a yellow like an egg york color.
Lemon Soap
I hate the scent of this soap. It smells exactly like lemon max bar and this is mostly the problem with lemon based products. It is yellow in color and I avoid buying this version. It depends on the person, you may like the scent of this soap but I don't.
Orange Soap
I'm not a fan of its fragrance. It smells very tangy and fake, almost like orange sweets which I'm not really interested in. It is orange colored and I also avoid buying this soap.
Grape Soap
This looks very blue in the image but actually it is a purple colored soap. This smells really yummy, like grape flavored candies and jelly beans. Really like this scent. Also this soap has the strongest scent in the entire range.
Now some of the soaps from this range smell great and lather nicely. They come cheap but perform like expensive soaps. After using these, my body doesn't feel dry or itchy. You really don't need a shower gel while using these. They are jumbo in size and above all feel very light weight in hand. They last for a pretty good time and are very economical for large families. I have found no cons regarding these soaps. These are very nice soaps and I would recommend them to everyone.
