Review // Oriflame The One Lipstick "Red Passion"

Finally, today I got the time to review this Oriflame the One 5 in 1 Color Stylist Lipstick in “306711 Red Passion.” Have you noticed the sudden chill in the weather? It sure makes me go crazy with cold hands and feet. 


I am so sad that fall has almost ebbed away whereas the cold extremities are upon us. This review has been long overdue now, let me make it up to you so, we can come down onto the nitty-gritty of this lipstick.



Price:

Packaging:

Hands down, this is one of the prettiest lipsticks I have in my stash. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous; it is a mix of blueish/purple with rose gold accents. This tube is a bit fat in size than normal lipsticks plus the cap is concave from the top, giving the lipstick a chic appearance. All the ingredients are mentioned but I couldn’t find the claims or the product grams.

Scent:

Yes, it does have a very mild fragrance, not bothering or much noticeable at all. I like it.

Pigmentation:

I’m amazed that it is a satin, a bit on the sheer side lipstick but the pigmentation is excellent, only one swipe does the thing.

Longevity:

When I apply more layers of it, it stays well throughout meals but I don’t fancy going much bold with this so, I have noticed it stayed for 6 hours when I wasn’t eating/drinking but with it, this lipstick lightened quite a bit and I had to reapply. The lasting power is not bad at all.

My Thoughts:

This Oriflame lipstick is a satin finish, just a little sheerer. It is moisturizing and when I first applied it, I fell in love with the shade. The lipstick is mix of blueish red but this looks pink on me. It glides on easily, doesn’t settle into fine lines and gives a buffed appearance. I fancy applying this lipstick to some formal events but sometimes, I do stain it a bit for a light and everyday coverage. Oriflame lipstick has certainly impressed me immensely. The texture is smooth and doesn’t tug on my lips. I finally found my true red and from every aspect, this is a winner for sure. I will give it a rating of 5/5.

Recommendation:

I would recommend this to everyone because the shade will suit all skin tones.

Would I Repurchase?

Yes, I will and would love to try the other shades from this range.

      Yes, red is my favorite color but I do not have the courage to wear red every day so, I only wear them at formal events but yes, I love reds like you:) Thanks:)

    This is a gorgeous, true red sort of color. If definitely looks like one of those lipsticks that could work for just about everybody! I always love wearing a good, red lip. It just makes me feel more confident, you know? As weird as that sounds. ha ha!
