November Favorites 2015!

Tuesday, December 01, 2015

November was so much enjoyable as I spent most of my time in my aunt’s house and believe me, I adored living there, just away from the confines of my rather boring home: D, plus spending time in someone else’s house is movies time, and this month I watched The Hunger Games and Catching fire (The Part 2). The first edition was attention-grabbing but Part 2 was rather tedious and seemed just unconditionally dragging on.

I love the book version and was a smidgen let down by the movie because it didn’t rouse the thrill in me the book had managed to kindle. Anyways, let’s come down to my November Favorites. I haven’t been exploring much makeup goodies nowadays, so I present you my few knick-knacks.

Body Luxuries Body Lotion “Silk Glow” PKR 245

I bought this at the start of November, you can check here. Since then, I have been doting on it. I use it only for my hands and body. It moisturizes well, doesn’t leave a residue behind and the smell is just impeccable for this weather. It is a blend of caramel and vanilla in my opinion, so outstanding! I will review it soon.

Ponds BB Cream PKR 245

I also purchased this a few months back and was really taken by the hype surrounding it. Ponds have surely changed the packaging of it as the previous one was slender and sleek. I didn’t try the past version, so can’t comment on which one is better but I really liked this bb cream. It glides on very well; it takes time to amalgam but does appear seamless once blended. It looks natural and I have been wearing it a lot lately. Review will be up soon!

Essence XXXL Shine Lip gloss “15 True Love” PKR 395

Yeah, this lovely is back again in my favorites. I mostly seem to pop it out in this time of year. It is a beautiful light berry color. Even though, I’m not a fan of lip glosses, this is just fair enough for a light lip look for every day and isn’t sticky at all plus smells yummy. Review here.

Bell Cosmetics Lipstick PKR 595

This lipstick is absolutely stunning. It is so creamy yet appropriately matte, glides like a dream and does not emphasize any fine lines, rather gives my lips a buffed and pout-y appearance. The color is gorgeous like a coral/mauve-y one. I’m bad at describing shades but this one should be in your makeup stash. I will review it soon.

BH Cosmetics Pink a Dot Brush Set “Blending Brush” PKR 2900

Okay now, this little brush is a multi-tasker for me. It comes in handy for almost everything like blending my concealer, setting my under-eye area, for highlighting and applying eye shadow all over the lid. This is a great multi-purpose brush and I would highly recommend this entire set. Review here.

  1. Great picks! I don't really like glosses either but they're very comfortable to wear in this season.

  3. I like all of your picks except for the lip gloss. Actually these things are only a trouble to put on and then one feels weird with this sticky substance, I'd rather wear a stain. Avery nice post and the picture is great too.

  8. Great Post! BTW where do u pick up your stuff from, because the prices u have mentioned are much below what I pay at Al-fatah for Essence, The Body Luxuries ................... and I have never come across a Ponds BB cream below Rs. 700+ ................ seems like I have been fooled by store keepers:p

    1. I don't have a specific place as I like to experiment with different stores but I bought some of these things from Hyperstar and some other stores. However, the ponds bb cream is from Al-Fatah. I wonder why other stores are selling the BB so expensive.
