Makeup Revolution Liquid Concealer Review & Swatches!

Thursday, January 08, 2015

Hello Lovely Readers,
Today I'm going to review the Makeup Revolution Liquid Concealer. Let's see what I felt about this concealer.

It comes in 3 shades such as Fair, Natural and Medium whereas I got the Natural one.

I bought it for 300 PKR from an online shopping website .

Only ingredients are mentioned.

It comes in a 1.9ml clear container with a sponge tip applicator attached to a black cap. The packaging is simple, sturdy and I like sponge applicators as they're more appropriate for applying concealer than pots or brushes.

It has a thick texture that is easily blendable but you have to work with quick fingers as it dries fast.

It stays for a good 6 hours on me after that you can notice it fading.

My Thoughts
This concealer leans more towards yellow so the color and undertone is a good match for me but not perfect. I have to be really quick while blending it into my under eye circles as it dries pretty fast. The concealer dries to a matt finish which I don't appreciate because I already have dry skin and prefer illuminating concealers. I like the 1.9ml quantity as my Essence Stay Natural Concealer was only 1.5ml twist container. Once blended the concealer looks a little ashy but then settles nicely into my skin tone. It doesn't crease and does not settle into fine lines. I feel that it makes my undereye area seem matte and drying. It isn't moisturizing and feels a little heavy on the skin. For me it is a pretty average concealer and I wish it was available in more shades. Overall I would say it is a decent concealer for the very cheap price it comes in and once applied it looks natural and is good for hiding light undereye circles but is ineffective for scars, blemishes and acne. However don't layer it too much because it can look cakey.

For those who are on a budget and want a light matte coverage.

Would I Repurchase
Maybe because I think it will be fine in summers.
