Before babbling about my favorites, I want to discuss the most morbid part of my day today and that is my Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart Blush accidentally slipped from my hand while I was putting all things back after a #productphotography day and God! I'm feeling so tearful. I guess I'll have to buy a new one and I'm already on an online shopping BAN! Prescribed by none other than my brother who got annoyed of my makeup hoarding. I know I sound like a radio gone wrong, so let's just get on with the favorites.

Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart Blush "Candy Queen Of Hearts" PKR 850
Ahem! My favorite blush ever because it gives the most natural glow ever and with this blush, I don't see the use of a highlighter. I have been using it a lot this month. Review here

St Ives Vitamin E Daily Hydration Body Lotion PKR 495
Hands down, the best body lotion I've tried so far and I can use it wherever I want to and folks I'm not disappointed. It hydrates, smoothes and plumps my skin without any greasy feeling. Review here

Essence Kiss Care Love Lip balm "01 Fruit Crush" PKR 225
My all time favorite lip balm. I use it everyday and everywhere. It provides moisture and gives a hint of color to my lips which I think looks natural yet flattering. I'll review it once I collect more lip balms from this range.

Bh Cosmetic Pink A Dot Blush Brush PKR 2900 whole set
This cute thing has never left my handbag. I love it for a quick blush application and it is so soft and does not scratch my skin. Review here

Harmony Fruit Soap "Strawberry" PKR 42
This sweetheart only comes for 42 PKR but performs like an expensive soap. It smells wonderful especially this strawberry scent is my FAV. It does not strip my skin of moisture and is great for taking a bath. I'll review all these soaps from this range soon.

"The Best Laid Plans" By Sidney Sheldon PKR 120
Mr Sheldon definitely has got charisma and it for sure shows from his writing. If you want your heart to beat faster and want your mind to keep guessing at every chapter then dear pick up this book and I assure you, that you won't put it down till the end. It's that great. Review soon.

Hmm let's see, well there are many but the main ones that really annoy me are:
* When I have to wake up early in the morning.
* When my tea doesn't taste as good as I want it to be (I'm a teaholic)
* When I have to eat the same breakfast everyday especially fried eggs (you don't know how much I whine at eating eggs.)
* When I don't have enough money to purchase my favorite beauty or makeup product.

I like to keep my lipsticks on my vanity whereas all my other makeup items are hidden away in drawers and wooden boxes.

For being alive and also today my mother agreed to buy me some makeup items this month.

Scrolling on Instagram or sometimes reading blogs.

I'm a complete homebody because I'm very quiet and shy in company. I have a few friends but I rarely go and meet them in public places or indulge in fun activities.

Miranda Kerr. I love her tapered pants and loose funky blouses. It makes her look petite, slim and smart and I love the fact that such kind of clothes can be worn anywhere and can complement almost everyone.

French fries. I can eat them anytime and anywhere.

I'm not going to babble much today because this post is extremely picture heavy. One thing I'm pretty sure about is that after owning these brushes, my thirst for more brushes has risen and these brushes have made me apply makeup in such a professional way that it almost feels like a child's play.

Introduction
These brushes come in a pink travel container with black polka dots that can be closed together in a case of travelling and contains 11 brushes. The brushes have golden ferrules and black dyed wooden handles with pink polka dots with Bh cosmetics embossed on each brush. Everything about this set is super reliable and worth every penny you pay. The bristles are light pink dyed from their tops and the brushes are super duper soft, I mean I can't stress this enough how soft these are and how lovely they feel on my skin. I washed these brushes before using them and I'm impressed because none of them shed any hair while using or washing except the lip brush which shed three hairs(sounds horrific but that's fine by me). When these brushes arrived they didn't smell weird as some brushes do and they didn't scratch my skin.

Deluxe Fan Brush
I haven't found much use out of this one and it's my least favorite brush in this set. I use it for applying highlighter on my cheekbones and that only rarely. However, it's nice to have it in my collection.


Powder Brush
I love this brush because it's the perfect size to fit my small face. I apply powder with it, sometimes blush which this brush is really good at and it's really effective for applying cream blush as well. But I think people with large faces won't like it for applying face powder because it isn't that big and fluffy.


Angled Blush Brush
This is somewhat of a gem because it works wonders for contouring or simply for applying blush. I've also used it for applying highlighter on my cheekbones and it's fantastic.


Classic Foundation Brush
This is a typical flat foundation brush. It's beautifully made and applies the foundation well but it doesn't give that well blended look. I think I'll buy a buffing or a flat kabuki brush for applying foundation.


Tapered Shadow Blending Brush
This brush is the jack of all trades as with this brush, you can apply shadow all over the lid, or smudge a shadow in the crease or you can smoke up the outer v of the eyes and you can also put an eyeshadow in the tear duct area. This brush is amazing and my another favorite as well.


Classic Shadow Brush
This brush is mainly used for applying eyeshadow all over the lid or you can also use it for the crease area.


Small Smudge Brush
Oh this brush is lovely for blending and smudging all those nook and crannies you think are looking out of place or untidy. Also this is excellent for the lower lash line and works great for highlighting the brow bone or filling in the brows.


Angled Shadow Brush
This brush is good for creating a cat eye line or smoking the outer v of the eyes but I wish it was more dense and flat so that it gave enough precision while creating a flick but otherwise it's a fine brush.


Flat Eyeliner Brush
I've found no major use of this brush except filling in the brows a bit. I tried to apply liner with this brush but didn't like the result as it wasn't very neat. So I'm not a fan of this brush because I wish it was angled then it would have made a perfect eyeliner brush. Also I've tried using it in the lower lash line and there it works nicely.


Lip Brush
I didn't like this brush because when I washed it, it shed three hairs and I got a little worried so I didn't use it in fear of losing more hair. But still it applies lipstick well.


Tapered Eyeliner Brush
This brush is a master in putting eyeshadow in the inner corner of the eyes or lining the lower lash line.

Uff it was one long post but I hope I've covered all the points. Let me tell you once again that I love these brushes because they're super soft, they fit perfectly in my hand, they retain their shape after washing, they don't stink, I haven't noticed any major hair shedding and there is no right and wrong in using these brushes, you can use them the way you want to. The best thing is it comes with a holder which works great for travelling or simply for storing the brushes. The holder isn't made of cheap stuff but is a leather made holder and looks so cute on my vanity.

This blush is very pretty to look at but application wise it's not that great. So I'm not really joyous to have it in my collection. I ordered this blush online from just4girls.pk. Review here

Color Studio Professional Blush "Havana". PKR 750
I swatched all of the blush ons from this company in the store and I was hooked from the start. They have six  blushers in their range and all of them come with amazing shades. However, I only bought "Havana" , which is a beautiful tea pink color with brown undertones. I'm glad I picked this up and I can't wait to try the other ones from this range. Makeup Revolution blush "Hot". PKR 225
This is the cheapest blush in my collection with the prettiest warm pink color. However, the quantity is very less but then what can you expect for PKR 225. I love this blushon. I ordered it online from just4girls.pk. Review here

Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart "Candy Queen Of Hearts". PKR 850
The most expensive blush in my stash and the most gorgeous one. The reason I bought it was for its cute 3D heart shape. But the blush itself is very good in application, though pigmentation is very poor. But still it gives me beautiful glowing cheeks. I ordered it online from just4girls.pk. Review here

I love all these blush ons except Essence Cosmetics "Home Sweet Home Blush" that in my opinion is not up to the mark and God it produces powder upon touch like crazy.

Consistency
It is not as thick as Oatmeal & Shea Butter but still it is good to work it into the skin.

My Thoughts
This lotion is more suitable for this spring weather when summers are on their way again. It is a great everyday moisture which keeps me hydrated throughout the day without having to reapply and the satisfying thing is that at the end of the day it doesn't make me look dark or tired like some moisturizers do. This huge bottle lasts for a good 2 months in my household and not once me or my family has been disappointed by any St Ives products or these lotions. It keeps my skin hydrated, soft and moisturized without leaving any greasy feeling. It quickly sinks in upon application without having to rub again and again which really annoys me regarding some moisturizers.

Today I decided to do something a little different rather than the good ol' reviews. I'm going to talk about those products I never leave home without applying them on my face. Ofcourse I change my beauty rotation monthly but these products are still there on my vanity to be used because I trust them.

Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart "Candy Queen of Hearts".
I've heard Asian beauties complaining these are too light to be visible on us and I have the exact thoughts. But whenever I apply this blush, it highlights my cheekbones so beautifully that I have to apply it before going out.

Essence Silky Soft Blush "30 Secret It Girl".
Sticking to the blush theme. My another go to favorite is this blush. I use it when I need more color on my cheeks and this blush gives a lovely coral color to my cheeks without making them look dull or orange(y).

Essence Love Kiss Care Lip balm "01 Fruit Crush"
Obviously we all need hydration on our lips so that the lipstick glides on smoothly without looking patchy. I love this balm, it provides moisture, plumps and doesn't feel like it's sitting on my lips like some cheap lip balms do.

Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss "15 True Love".
You may have seen me praising the color of this lip gloss on Instagram. However the color isn't only to drool over but the overall formulation is great. It doesn't feel sticky, icky or tacky whatever term you may use. This gloss is perfect.

Essence Lipstick "62 Rockin Red".
This lipstick looks quite scary in the bullet. However, it gives a pretty light maroonish red color to the lips with (yes) some glitter but some of it won't hurt, if the other parts of your face are makeup-free.

Classic Perfect Lasting Lipstick "129"
Too bad this lipstick doesn't come in shade names but the good is it's locally available. I used to think that orange lippies made me look sick but after owning this lipstick, my opinion has changed.

I can't tell you how euphoric I'm feeling at the moment. These lovelies came in a plastic wrapping and I removed it to take pictures. I'm really happy with these and with the service of Makeup & Accessories . My parcel arrived timely, nothing was broken and it was my first shopping experience from here. These brushes are so soft and pretty. They look lovely in my girlie bedroom with their leather travel container and pink dotted designs on their handles. I can't stop staring and feeling it on my face again and again. I had run out of my previous St Ives lotion and sadly I couldn't find the Coconut milk & Orchid Extract lotion which was included in my wishlist. So I had to settle on this one and once again I'm awed by the loveliness of the formula. Keep looking for a review soon.

Head & Shoulders Anti Hairfall Shampoo PKR 335
My all time favorite shampoo and a must in my household. I'll review it soon.

Johnsons Baby Shampoo PKR 105
I bought this for washing my brushes.

Olivia Herbal Bleach Cream PKR 45
I don't use this bleach but as I was in a hurry I had to buy it to get rid of my really dark facial hair(sounds ugly, I know).

Harmony Soaps PKR 42 each
Hands down the best budget soaps I've found so far. They smell Ahh-mazing, come in a huge size and various colors. I think I should dedicate a post to these beauties.

Colgate Max Fresh Toothpastes PKR 105 each
Your morning never starts without brushing your teeth so a toothpaste is a necessity. I love the taste of these and find them to be of good quality with an affordable price tag.

The Best Laid Plans by "Sidney Sheldon" PKR 120
I know that Sophie Kinsella books were on my wishlist but I couldn't find any in my local bookshop. Let's see how this book turns out. A review will be up soon.

I have found a cult favorite that's been used in my household for generations and I'm also the happy resident of this category. I'm simply loving this product for a very long time and today I've got the time to share my admiration towards it.

Price
I bought it for 295 PKR from Al Fatah.

Claims
Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Lotion removes everyday build up of dirt, oil and grease that soap and water doesn't always reach. It is totally effective as a single step cleanser to clean thoroughly and help prevent spots. It can also be used to refresh, tone and tighten pores after washing.

Directions
Apply cleansing lotion to a cotton pad and wipe over face and neck as often as required. No need to rinse.

Packaging
Comes in a clear plastic 200ml bottle with a purple flip flop cap. The packaging is travel friendly and does not leak.

Scent
Smells like a chemical but one doesn't notice it much on application.

My Thoughts
This is a water based toner and cleanser(it is upon you how you use it because it does both the jobs.) I use this product to cleanse my face when I can't be bothered to wash my face again and again especially in this cold lazy weather. Also I use it as a toner and it really does tighten the pores. This product is oil free but it doesn't dry out the skin as my own skin type is dry/normal. I'm impressed by the way it cleans away the dirt and unnecessary oil on the face. In summers I use it before going out as it instantly brightens up my lack lustre complexion and mattifies it without making me feel dry. This is a great product but I wouldn't recommend it for using on the eyes as my eyes sting badly when I use it there. Also it has minimized the appearance of my pores and blemishes. It didn't break me out and I never had a nasty experience with this toner. Overall this is a good budget friendly cleanser plus toner and all of my family swears by it. The only cons I've found so far is that it contains Parabens and stings on the eye area.

Recommendation
To all skin types

I've been buying it for the past five years and hopefully would continue to do so.

I hope you all are well and keeping good care of your skin. Today I'm going to review the St Ives Apricot Fresh Skin Scrub. Let me tell you that St Ives has become one of my favorite brands because their products are really satisfying quality. I've read various reviews regarding this scrub and It's all been praises. Let's see how it turned out to be for me.

Price
I bought it for 475 PKR from Al Fatah.

Claims
From America's #1 Scrub brand, this award-winning Apricot Scrub with 100% Natural exfoliants deep cleans, instantly leaving skin smooth and glowing.
* Hypoallergenic
* Non-comedogenic
* Formulated without Parabens and Phthalates.

Directions
Moisten face with water. Place product onto fingertips and massage over face. Rinse with water. For best results use 3 to 4 times per week.

Packaging
It comes in a plastic 283g tub(it also comes in a tube.) This tub is bulky and isn't travel friendly due to its big size.

Scent
At first sniff I didn't like the scent but after continuous usage I've come to enjoy the smell. It does smell of apricot in a pleasant way but I know some people won't like it.

My Thoughts
First of all I wouldn't recommend using this scrub for 3 to 4 times per week as it's very harsh. 1 or 2 times a week is enough. This scrub is very thick in texture and has very harsh granules but I like the fact of it being abrasive as it really does the job of cleaning away all the dirt and makeup on my face. After using it my face feels smooth and soft. Also this is a blemish control scrub and believe me when I say that my pimples have almost become small in size due to its usage and there is a huge difference in the way my skin looks. I used it once on my body and I was amazed at how effectively it removed the dead cells from my body and it was easily washable without any granules left behind. My whole family uses this scrub and we all are extremely pleased with it. It contains salicylic acid which I know is really good for getting rid of pimples and St Ives is absolutely right in claiming of making this scrub with natural ingredients as this scrub does mostly contain natural ingredients. Overall I would say that this is a really nice scrub and the big tub lasts for such a long time. It is a great economical scrub. I haven't found any cons about it.

I was never into lifestyle and reading about it was far from my mind, until I came upon Rebecca's blog. Her topics are pure genius, a perfect balance between life and beauty. Her writing style is very fresh and soft spoken (if that makes sense). Her blog has a simple but a beautiful design and really neat and clean looking pictures. Love this blog. A must read.

Rosy Chicc
I was hooked to this blog the first time I read it. Why? Because the pictures are absolutely gorgeous. I don't know how the girl behind this blog comes up with such incredible looking photos. Not only her pictures are pretty but her writing style is very stylish. A must read if you want to have photo inspiration.

Mateja's Beauty Blog
Mateja's blog is pure fun. I love her lovely blog pictures and detailed reviews and swatches. Also her blog is a good read if you want to know about drugstore brands. Her "New in" series are my favorite topics to read. Love her blog.

Nothin' Fancy Really
Ziva and Mateja are both from Slovenia and their blogs seem to me almost alike. They are girly, chirpy and really enjoyable for girls to read. I love Ziva's hairstyle tutorials. Her reviews on drugstore brands are great and her pictures are stunning. Amazing blog.

Hmmm we're again at the end of the month and this time I'm not going to complain because this is life. Everything has to come to an end. January was a very boring month as I didn't go anywhere special neither indulged in fun activities because of this cold, it makes me chilled to my very bones and I get lazy. St Ives Apricot Scrub
I bought this scrub last month and believe me I've always wanted it because I heard nothing but praises regarding it. My sweet mother eventually listened to my continuous chatter about this scrub and bought me this big tub which, ahem my whole family uses and all of us love it. A review will be up soon.

Makeup Revolution Lipstick "Dusky"
I'm not really a fan of the shade and formulation of this lipstick but honestly I've been using it whenever on the go. It looks a pinkish pearly nude on me which is very moisturizing but vanishes quickly. So yeah this is what I've been using. Check my review here

Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 1 Eyeshadow Palette
Again I've included this in my favorites because this is what I've been applying on my eyes. I use the lighter shades on my tear duct area and I'm ready to go. It is an amazing palette with a very affordable price tag. Check my review here

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Blush "Loved Me The Best"
Love, love this blusher but hate the small size of it. This blush gives a beautiful rosy glow to my cheeks which is all I need to appear healthy in this cold drying weather. Check my review here
