Standout Beauty Products 2016!
By Chaste & Beautiful - Friday, December 30, 2016
Hello Girls,
Finally, 2016 passed by and I felt this year seemed a bit of a drag and included many events that were a great agony for me and obviously, for the entire nation. We lost some of the most precious people of our country and suffered other subsequent losses as well. I don’t want to sketch out each fragment of 2016 because discussing in detail feels too depressing. So, let’s pray and hope that 2017 has better and nicer prospects awaiting for us all. As for New Year resolutions, Nope! Nada… I am not going to chitchat about that because they are better achieved quietly than being boasted about the entire year. (If that remark makes sense.) :-P
When it comes to blogging, I actually tried hard to pull my “bedraggled self” towards my laptop and put down my freshly thought out opinions in a post before sleep could numb my mind. Once again, I didn’t get to experiment with many beauty products this year but was able to find some gems that helped me whiz through thick and thin “reference goes to my dry and lackluster skin.”
The Balm NudeTude Palette
Luckily, I won this eyeshadow palette in a giveaway *kisses go to my fate,* and since then, I haven’t looked back. Even though I didn’t get sufficient time to review this product, I can happily say that if you want pigmentation, quality, versatility, and quantity crammed into one, this eyeshadow is all you need to get your mitts on. It consists of lovely neutral shades that can easily be of service for creating numerous natural to bold eye makeup looks.
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer Shade 20
The only regret I have regarding this product is why I didn’t purchase it sooner. I almost bought it when everybody was done singing its praises. However, I am still glad to have it in my vanity. No concealer that I have tried formerly matches up to the finish of this one. The shade goes perfectly for my skin, the consistency is flawless, and it hides imperfections remarkably well and doesn’t look awkwardly cake-y or oxidize badly. Review and swatches here.
Nyx Lip Lingerie “Ruffle Trim” and “Beauty Mark”
Ah, even the sound of this product lifts up my spirits. This is one of the most impressive makeup items I purchased this year. It lives up to all its claims, positive reviews, praises, you name it. Application wise, the product goes on like a dream and sets into an impeccable matte pout without irking your lips or inching down towards your chin. Forget messy problems with this one and trust me, give this a go. For more specifications and swatches, click here.
Colour Pop Liquid Lipstick “Bumble” and Lippie Stix “Brink”
Despite the fact that I wrote sonnets in Colour Pop’s praise since I tried it, I wasn’t able to grab more than two items this year. Of course, I plan to add more shades to my collection for the reason that Colour Pop nailed their liquid lipstick and lippie stix formula. I wish to splurge on their satin liquid lipsticks soon. So, stay tuned and for the time being, check my detailed review and swatches here.
NYC Expert Last Lip Color “452 Red Suede”
I remember desperately searching for a red lipstick that won’t lean too pink or too orange on my skin tone. Well, I was pleased with this one as it goes on buttery smooth and doesn’t settle wickedly into my lip lines. It imparts a beautiful glow to the face and looks classy always. This is definitely one of my best 2016 finds with a very low price. I haven’t reviewed it yet but stay hooked for that soon.
PearlShine Lip Balm
Garnier Micellar Water
I can’t explain for how long I had been in search of this product and as soon as I saw it listed on Daraz, I knew I had to buy it. Bioderma appeared too expensive so, I would say this product is definitely an A Grade alternative for those who wish to remove makeup faultlessly without any frustrations. It performs its job quickly and nicely, sans any unnecessary rubbing or tugging. Review coming soon.
Here comes my post to an end. I hope you enjoyed my picks. If you have any questions about a specific product, do feel free to ask me. Happy New Year and have a Great Weekend everyone…

Oh I love your best products, especially the Garnier Miscellar Water. I'll also buy it and that concealer is a must have too. Beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteYes, you should definitely give the Garnier Micellar water and Maybelline Fit Me Concealer a go. Thank you so much for stopping by...
DeleteLove this rundown...all these products sound fab and I personally have tried the Micellar Water from Garnier and also theBalm NudeTude Palette. I heard good things about Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, but I refused to buy it online because it's expensive. Our Maybelline here just recently came out with the Age Rewind Concealer, so I'm sure they'll be bring in Fit Me line someday. :D
ReplyDeleteI did a similar blog post if you want to check that out ^__^
