Review || Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water!

In 2016, half of my Instagram feed used to be crammed with praises of Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water, until the feed started transforming and made room for the much raved about Garnier Micellar Water. Initially, I had plans to spend on Bioderma, since, it was first that received all the limelight but when I learned that both of these “almost” did the same job, I decided to better save my hard-earned cash and consider opting for Garnier.

Garnier has certainly not been the brand to enter my good books but after using this Micellar Water myself, I took my viewpoint back and now do try to get their products “like once in a while.” I mean for only 500 PKR, you get a large 400ml bottle that lasts a really long time. I’m pretty sure that Bioderma will be just as good but it comes for thrice its price, “which is a lot,” considering the fact that both are made for similar purposes.

Claims:

Garnier claims that this formula is suitable for all skin types, since, it’s completely fragrance-free, has naturally derived ingredients and doesn’t require any sort of rubbing to take the makeup away. It captures all impurities like a magnet and removes them hassle-free.

Packaging:
I must say that the mix of pink, white and black label makes the bottle look cute. But for traveling purposes, this is a failure as its cap is very loose and doesn’t shut tightly. Even, during shipping, my bottle lost a good amount of its quantity. So, always dispense the water in a small tight bottle before you plan on traveling somewhere.

My Thoughts

I simply mete out the product on some cotton wads and use the wads to clean my face. This has the ability to fully trap all impurities or makeup and you can simply take that all away without any smears behind. You definitely do not need to practice harsh rubbing or pulling with this water, plus it doesn’t sting my eyes “like some products tend to do.” It’s very effective in removing makeup and surprisingly gentle at the same time.

Be it smudge-proof eyeliner, mascara or a liquid lipstick, even the most obstinate of products do not stand a chance against this micellar water. Call it a miracle worker or a gem, this is a product that should be in the hands of every skincare freak, even novices should buy this. This product consists of advantages that are too many to name but I can tell, since, its purchase my skin looks fresher than ever and the need to indulge in more skincare increases every day. This micellar water has its own place and I won’t be replacing it any sooner.

It supplies with a very radiant-looking complexion that invites for a topping of foundation and further makeover. It is certainly one of those brilliant products that you can buy without much contemplation. It is cheap, economical, effective and chemical-free. I will give it a big thumbs-up and a rating of 4.5/5 because I feel the packaging needs improvement. Otherwise, I would say this is the best skin cleaning product I have tried and I am glad that it is easily available now. I got mine from daraz.pk.

Recommendation
