My Current Skincare Routine!

By Chaste & Beautiful - Saturday, April 11, 2015

Hello Everyone,
I hope you all are well. Today I'm going to talk about my Current Skincare Routine. But before beginning I would like to tell you that my skin type is dry/normal and is acne-prone. My skin reacts differently at times as it can be too oily or too dry depending on the weather and it has a tendency to look dehydrated and flaky at times. But thankfully my skin is not at its worse, as mostly in teenage life, teenagers do suffer from acne.

Cleansing
I found a gem of a product by St Ives which is their Green Tea Gel Cleanser This is the only product that really helped me clear my acne and those annoying acne spots. I have tried the soap "Acne Aid" and it is wonderful at keeping acne at bay but it dries out my skin badly. I use the St Ives cleanser everyday and do not use anything else other than this cleanser and it really keeps my face looking fresh and clean.

Toning
I use the Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Lotion to tone my skin and this product is kind of a 2 in 1 as it both cleanses and tones. It really is good in tightening my pores and brightening my complexion. I would highly recommend this product because it's cheap and effective.

Exfoliate
I do this twice a week. My apricot scrub is not totally finished. I either use this St Ives Apricot Scrub or the new scrub I bought, the Petal Fresh one. St Ives is a wonderful brand to opt for if you are looking for good skincare on a budget. The Petal Fresh one is very gentle on the skin whereas the St Ives scrub gives more of an abrasive exfoliation.

Mask
I do this after exfoliating my face and again I do this twice a week. Currently I'm using the Freeman Cucumber Peel Off mask . Freeman is a lovely brand if you are searching for nice face masks. This face mask leaves my skin fresh and even.

Moisturize
I never ever skip this step. Moisturizing is very essential even if you are an oily skinned girl. I use the St Ives Timeless Collagen Elastin Moisturizer or sometimes I use the St Ives body lotion. Both products are awesome for moisturizing but I think that the timeless skin moisturizer is more a good option as it does not leave any greasiness behind, smells lovely and leaves my skin soft and supple. I would highly recommend the St Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Moisturizer especially to oily beauties.

This was my current skincare routine. I hope you enjoyed knowing my skincare routine and what products I use. Before beauty blogging I never considered skincare important but now after searching and reading innumerable blogs I have come to know that skincare is the only way to an everlasting smooth and wrinkle free looking skin.
