A good sheet mask changes how you perceive your skin and with time, it only adds to your beauty. When I discovered the SNP Korea mask, I got amazed to discover that glass skin is indeed achievable, it’s not just a far-fetched idea!

Hello, to all the lovely readers who’ve long awaited for my blog update and who may or may not know that I recently won a giveaway hosted by beauty blogger Farya from beauty and dewdrop and SNP Korea!

I was definitely overjoyed upon receiving 40 sheet masks. Yes, 40! and a couple of other skincare and beauty goodies direct from South Korea! Imagine a Korean facial mask first-timer like me receiving a ton of them, feels amazing, doesn’t it?

And my happiness escalated the moment I tested their Coconut Water Supercharged Mask!

Directions

1. After cleansing and toning skin, apply evenly onto face, aligning with eyes and lips.

2. Hold the mask with one hand and use the other to take off the mesh.

3. Remove after 10-20 min and gently massage the remaining essence.

Personal Experience

By now, you’ll know it promises to provide glowing skin, rejuvenated skin and intense hydration! First of all, let me tell you I’ve tried clay masks, sugar masks, gel peel offs and a glycolic mask but never had I ever used a face mask korea is popular for. I mean, I used to believe a mask that came in a sheet was called sheet mask but later my curiosity fell into place through the hashtag #masking!

Application

Before putting it on, I washed my face with a Ponds cleanser and used rose water to tone my skin.

Fit

My korean facial mask fitting experience was definitely gloppy and a confusing one! I took the mask out and was shocked at the amount of essence/serum, the mask was drenched in, hence I was saved by the blessed “mesh” from tearing the face mask sheet apart. I dubiously filled the eye and lip gaps with my face, pressing each line to get a smooth fit, though the fit was no way perfect as per the claims, rather my face fell small compared to its size.

The Waiting Part

I cannot even tell you how many times I had to pry my hands away from adjusting the sheet, since it slipped/budged more than a dozen times from different areas of my face. Eventually, I gave up and let the mask do its thing.

Indeed, it feels calming in a very nice way, with its soothing floral scent that’s quite mild, and neither do you experience the hateful tightening or tingling as in the case of mud/clay versions.

The Results

After 30 minutes, I peeled off the mask, starting from my chin to forehead and the results had me eyeing holes in the mirror (no jokes.) After getting a hang of myself, I started patting the essence into my skin, slowly, taking my time, until I found my skin 10 times closer to that of Korean actors and actresses!

I heart Korean people for their skin; they’re so naturally blessed in this department and I know every person out there wants skin like theirs. With this product, I looked intensely hydrated, every pore and acne scar looked blurred out to perfection and my face felt like a baby’s bottom!

I went out in natural light to see the expanse of the outcomes and to my surprise, I looked airbrushed!

However, I must admit, the essence felt quite tacky which is something you won’t be able to stand in terribly hot and humid weather. And this also confirmed my suspicions that sheet masks are not for Peak Summers.

I personally don’t have bad skin or any serious skin problems. I do have small bumps on my face which were totally non-existent after the mask application. A sheet mask is great to prep yourself up prior to makeup, to look naturally good and if you want dewy, buffed glass skin.

This is definitely a must-have for those with common skin conditions like redness, acne scars, pigmentation, uneven skin tone, dullness, small bumps or big pores! SNP Korea Coconut Mask will brighten you up a treat!

I’m writing the review on the second day of its usage and my skin still looks fresh and glowing. All thoughts are my own, not sponsored by the brand in anyway!

Recommendation

I’d recommend this to anyone who wants Korean-ish skin and if you have minimal skin problems, you’ll get there with this product FAST! Overall, it's great to keep your skin in tiptop condition and when you need that extra TLC! I’ve already recommended this to one of my neighbors and my friends.

Would I Repurchase?

Yes, if it's easily available in Pakistan!
