Review // Ponds Face Washes!

We are very close to Eid-ul-Fitr now and of course excited too, despite the heat and humidity. Not to worry though, as I’ve brought before you two really good and cost effective face washes that’ll blow your socks off! However, do grab them before the socks go too far! 

It gets very hectic in summer months, especially if it’s Ramadan and extremely hot temperature. People feel tired and lethargic just because of enduring so much heat. That’s one reason for my laziness and the other is obviously my work schedule that’s getting heavier day by day. No worries though, I’ve taken a week off and I’ll post about my Eid preparations as well, since my Eid dress is still getting stitched.

So, let’s get down to business and talk about these beauties that turn you into a more beautiful you in a very reasonable price.

Price and Purchase

I bought Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spot-Less Lightening Facial Foam 100g and Pond’s Pimple Clear White Multi-Action Facial Wash 50g from Al-Fatah. The price of Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spot-Less Lightening Facial Foam is PKR: 225 and Pond’s Pimple Clear White Multi-Action Facial Wash cost me PKR: 155 only, as it is the smaller version, the larger ones had all been sold out.


Packaging and Product

Both of these face washes come in a plastic tube, similar to a toothpaste tube and it is easy to squeeze out the desired amount. There’s nothing extraordinary about the packaging, except that it is travel-friendly, the cap shuts tightly and it doesn’t leak. Products in both these tubes differ a lot in texture, color, and results.

1. The Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spot-Less Lightening Facial Foam is white and creamy in texture. It has a very light, insignificant smell that doesn’t bother at all and a little amount lathers up the entire face instantly, leaving the skin smooth and silky.

2. The Pond’s Pimple Clear White Multi-Action Facial Wash has little scrubbing particles in it, which don’t feel harsh during application. It also has a subtle scent that’s nice and undetectable in a way. The cream inside is a bit sandy in color and lasts a long time just like the other one mentioned above.


My Thoughts on Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spot-Less Lightening Facial Foam

In April, 2016, I only bought Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spot-Less Lightening Facial Foam and it’s after effects proved to be good because it gives an instant lift to the face and I felt fresh promptly, as well as squeaky clean. However, after a few days my skin started breaking out, not much though but a pimple or two did appear every other day. 


That was enough to put me off but my brother claimed it was good for his skin. So, an order for more was placed by him. Another reason was that it was April when it’s not that hot and one tends to get away with creamy things but I wanted to try the other one too, as now I needed to cure my pimples. Eventually I bought both of these face washes in May, one for myself and this one on my brother’s request.


My Thoughts on Pond’s Pimple Clear White Multi-Action Facial Wash

This facial wash was small in size but lasted us for two months regardless of being used by three people daily. It is excellent for summer season when there’s much perspiration and stickiness. The good thing is that it eliminated my pimples and other blemishes, but it is not for winter season and dry skins. I’m dry skinned too but it works for me in summer, though I know I won’t be able to use it in winter. 


My mother loves it and according to her, the oiliness remains at bay for over 6 hours, more than what an ordinary soap provides. My brother likes it too and I’ll be purchasing it again this month. The tiny grains clean your skin thoroughly and your skin feels rejuvenated. Both these facial washes also claim to whiten the skin, which is honestly speaking a temporary phase but in the long run, you’ll definitely find your face becoming spot-less and smooth with a brightening effect.

Recommendation

I definitely recommend these to everyone because these are good and affordable, though you must choose according to your own skin texture. Pond’s is definitely a reliable brand.

Would I Repurchase

Of course, as I’ve said earlier I’m heading out tomorrow InshaAllah to buy more of these but this time I’ll only buy Pond’s Pimple Clear White Multi-Action Facial Wash in large size! I can’t afford to take risk with the other one, i.e. Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spot-Less Lightening Facial Foam as yet; because Eid is round the corner and I want my skin to be flawless at that time!

We only have the face creams and cleansers but not these treatments here in the US or at least where I live at the local grocery stores, retailers, and drugstores!!     I used this brand back when I was a teenager! LOL! They are great for budget but as I am older, it's no longer suitable for what my skin needs.

    I used to use white beauty face wash by Pond's when I was young and it was working well on my skin, but then, it deteriorated its quality and I stopped using it.
