Newly Purchased #12

By Chaste & Beautiful - Thursday, May 05, 2016

It has become unbearably hot now and I wait for the sun to set, by sleeping through the entire day. Once, the heat waves start dying down with the diminishing scorching sunlight, my eyes open up as well and I get ready for the working hours ahead. Yep, my work is such that it usually involves night schedule and now that it is summer, this schedule suits me more, as the extreme heat in daytime dulls the mind and body, although, I wouldn’t recommend such an unnatural regimen to any other soul, because it really upsets everything, including your health and other everyday chores.

Harmony Fruity Soaps: PKR 42 each

If you’ve been following my posts, you must’ve known by now that these bars of fruity soaps are my regular purchase and in case I don’t get them, finding a replacement creates a huge problem. We all are addicted to these soaps and everybody in my home starts grumbling, if we somehow miss them out. Review here for you.

Dove Intense Repair Shampoo: PKR 360

This is a medium sized bottle and I was in real, looking for Vidal Sassoon but unfortunately the one I wanted was nowhere to be seen, plus the ones on display were small besides being highly priced. So, half-heartedly I bought this buddy, and would let you know the results soon. I’m very anxious to try out this particular brand because according to my mom, Dove has lost the credibility it once boasted, perhaps by the upsurge of other competitive varieties.

Tresemme Shampoo + Conditioner: PKR 365 500ml

This is another shampoo I’ve never used before and earnestly want to lather up my tresses with it, in the hope it that would really tress me up. I’ll inform you of my opinion about it, as soon as I am able to try it to my fullest content.

Closeup Toothpaste: PKR 145 each, 125g

Another of my family’s obsession is this brand of toothpaste. It has proved its merit till date and I do believe it is one of the best ones around in our country. There must be for sure other good ones too, but I prefer it over all the other brands.

Body Luxuries Body Splash ‘Enjoy Life’: PKR 155

I’ve been buying these body splashes for a quite a while now and surprised that it has retained its price even after 5 years. Furthermore, the quality is great too considering it is a local produce and they keep coming up with unique, and good smells from time to time.

Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spot-less Lightening Facial Foam: PKR 255

This was my second purchase of this particular facial cleanser. My earlier involvement with it was good but not exactly excellent, owing to continuous breakouts during the usage, however it suited my mom and bro and this is actually for them. You will have to wait a bit for its review.

Pond’s Complete Solution Pimple-Clear White Multi-Action Facial Wash: PKR 155

This cleanser is for me as now I need something to clear off the acne. Let me try it and then I’ll evaluate it of course. One thing is important here though, Ponds is a good ol’ trustworthy company but ignored by our generation because of immense rise of other brands, however Ponds can be relied on, it would never harm you in anyway, quality wise and expense wise, both.

Dessata Professional Detangling Brush: PKR 980

This baby was on my wish list for a long time and now I’ve got one in my hands. I had been seeing it all the time online and on ground, all around me but a time is written for everything. After watching Saadiah Khawaja’s video on this detangling brush, my resistance level broke down and I swam towards it in the flood of my sentiments. I am hoping to review this sooner than the other products.

So, that’s pretty much it, and I know you can see the toothbrush in my pictures too but it’s just an ordinary toothbrush of PKR: 100, nothing significant to share with you guys. I hope you enjoyed the post and my shopping too. Keep checking in for updates and remember, I love reading your comments.

Thanks and bye!

  11. I actually really like Dove's products, I have very sensitive skin and their shower gels are one of the only formulas that don't irritate my skin.
