So,
girls it was my birthday on 24th March and sadly I’ve to update you
that now officially I’ve left my teens. This growing up part really bothers me
because I hate growing up, perhaps because I am scared of embracing responsibilities.
However this grief has nothing to do with the celebration of birthdays and I
love receiving presents, rather, that’s the best part and then it is worthy to
not let fear overshadow your stance.
I
believe I must take inspiration from this quote: “As long as I am breathing, in
my eyes, I am just beginning.”
Yesterday,
my khalas (maternal-aunts) were over at my place and there was a discussion on
makeup, naturally. My khalas are into beauty related issues too, quite keenly
as a matter of fact, but there’s always a clash on the budget. They openly tell
me that I’m a spendthrift regarding makeup items and after hearing about my
latest splurges, they advised on the productivity of spending money on clothes,
rather than cosmetics. I believe many of the beauty bloggers face similar
issues, and then the guilt gushes overspill our minds. Don’t they?
Though
February is long gone, yet after today’s cold and overcast day, I thought over this
skipped post and here I am. Sometimes life gets so busy that even writing down
a few lines feels so hectic. Don’t think I’m fed up of this blog. No! The
matter is my job as a freelancer and after so much writing, another piece of
writing appears like fetching stars from the sky itself.
Hoarding
and going on a spree for every month’s grocery is real fun. Besides, I spend
whole month anticipating this moment. Pleasure is all mine, as I get my hands
on things already enlisted in my mind. In fact every month’s grocery list is
set by me. This month we proceeded to Al-Fatah, a reputable shopping place,
though I would love to shop in Green Valley someday. Plus I believe Hyperstar
is a much better option too. Metro chain is just average in my opinion, however
they do have some awesome deals, but still I’ve never liked the atmosphere in
there.
Dry
hair and skin is indeed a big issue for me and finding the right product that
can tame my parched frizzy tresses is no joke. I’ve always loved hair care
products, maybe because I don’t consider my hair to be gorgeously lovely like
my mother’s and that is enough to dishearten me. The matter at hand in the
beginning was actually my mother, as she has never faced any hair problems and
is a strictly against hair care products. So, it took a while for her to comprehend
my genuine pleas. Anyway after reading much about hair care and then receiving
the consent of my mother too, I actually started investing in conditioners.
