September Favorites 2015!

By Chaste & Beautiful - Monday, October 05, 2015

The weather has taken a pleasant turn, not yet fall and not winter either, and the implications of sickness has accompanied it too and as I write this post, I feel heady, blurry eyed with a runny nose. Sounds pathetic, I know. I feel that the next day I’ll be fully ill, I hope not but….. This month I have been trying some new makeup items which I recently purchased and my September Favorites will not surprise you.

Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara! PKR 450

You must have seen me raving about this mascara on my blog and I still stick to the same opinion. This mascara is great for beginners and is perfect for giving that separated tamed look to your lashes. It gives a natural looking effect and is a, no fuss mascara for No makeup, makeup look. Review here.

Petal Fresh Apricot + Aloe Whitening Facial Scrub! PKR 265

Due to the variation in the climate, my skin is leaning more towards dry these days as this always happens with me, when winter is around the corner. So recently, I have been looking out for creamy, moisturizing products and this one saves the day. This scrub has mild exfoliating particles which feel like sand and do not strip my skin of its natural oils. Rather this product leaves my skin soft, subtly fragrant and moisturized. Review here.

Wet n Wild Lipstick “Wine Room” PKR 495

I was totally enthralled by the shade of this lipstick when I saw the online swatches but reality was a little different as the color is so dissimilar to what I saw online. It is just a common shade and the formula hasn’t impressed me much but still I make do with what I have. The review will be up soon.

Elf Geometric Eye shadow Book!

I was gifted this beautiful palette by one of my generous aunts. This is my first Elf product and I was taken by amazement as this palette contains some gorgeous shades especially those bronze-y ones and the quality did not dissatisfy me. I have been using it for quite some time and I like it very much. Review is coming your way in a few days.

Luminous Rose Toner!  PKR 190

You may have been familiar with Luminous skincare’s latest launch on Just4girls.pk and Daraz.pk websites. This spritzing jewel has always intrigued me and when I was about to check out, I thought of adding this as it is a very cheaply priced toner. I had my doubts but they vanished the day I swiped my face clean with this toner. It works brilliantly, smells nice and above all is a natural/organic product. Review will be up soon.

“The Girl on the Train” by Paula Hawkins! PKR 300

I have read this book two times and words can’t express how awesome it is, you need to read this. When I bought this book, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out to be, but the book removed all my suspicions. It is one of the most compelling reads you will ever find, full of thrill and suspense till the last moment.

I hope you liked this post! What were your picks for the previous month?

  11. Well, Wine Room didn't awe me that much and yeah Maybelline does not give intense bold lashes, it is just perfect for those who like their lashes to look natural. Thank you for appreciating my blog. Much love:)
