Review || Argan Oil Conditioner!

By Chaste & Beautiful - Tuesday, November 29, 2016

I am a great fan of hair care products but I seldom buy and use them, since I am seriously crap at keeping up with a routine, whether it be related to beauty or anything else. I’ve tried numerous conditioners and still keep exploring for the best one. You might remember that I did a post on jewelry and mentioned about the surprise I received from one of my aunts. Well, this conditioner was also included in that package. I’ve tried this conditioner before as well but today, I decided to review it. The inclusion of Argan Oil in this conditioner really attracted me, let’s see whether it was advantageous or not!

Price & Packaging

I once bought this conditioner for 495 PKR from Al Fatah. I am not sure how much it costs in shops abroad. However, you can find this product easily on Ebay or Amazon. This conditioner comes in a 300ml tube and you know how much I like tubes and luckily, its cap is very secure and shuts tightly. I would recommend this product for traveling.

Texture & Consistency

The product is white in color. It smells very nice and fresh, plus the hair stays fragrant for a long time. The consistency is not too thick or too runny, just a mix in between and spreads nicely, but you might need to be generous while squeezing out the product, especially if you have long hair.

My Thoughts

I must say, I am not much impressed with this product. I have very dry and frizzy hair, a common conditioner can definitely not tame my locks and disappointment was something I was anticipating. This conditioner is not very effective, in terms of providing sufficient hydration to my hair. The results are mild but I believe that if you have straight hair, this conditioner will work nicely.

I would suggest people with wavy, frizzy hair to opt for something more penetrating, this one probably caters to folks with a fine mane. Overall, I would rate it as 3/5, since it doesn’t perform much on wiry hair like mine and doesn’t fulfill all its claims as well.

Recommendation

This conditioner is suitable for straight-haired girls.

Would I Repurchase?

No

Have you tried this conditioner?

  3. I have from the same range the hair mask, I don't use it much often but when I do, the only thing that does for my hair is to soften my hair, unfortunately it does not do anything for frizz. Too bad the conditioner does not work for you either.

  5. Have you tried applying an intensive mask instead of conditioner when you wash your hair?
I nearly always use a mask and my hair has definitely improved a lot.
    Great post!

  8. I've tried a few conditioners and felt no significant difference in my hair texture, however I feel Lory's is a good one. There must be better ones out there, so you still got a long way to go! Best of luck and awesome post and pictures.

    1. I've tried Lory's, yes, it is a nice option but still proves to be subtle for my hair. I am still hunting for the perfect product. Thank you so much for the appreciation. Your comments mean a lot. :)
