Review // Romantic Bear WOW Long Lasting Lip Color!

Hi Girls,
The concept of tinting or staining lips with color has always been fascinating, as it gives a natural lip color, without looking cake-y or unusually overpowering, especially suitable for young girls. I’ve been trying to get hold of lip stains for quite a while now, and after watching a video on the usage of lip tattoos, I couldn’t resist the urge to buy them at once. One does tend to think why buy these lip tattoos, why not go straight for a proper lip stain but you can’t ignore these buddies now, can you?

Lip tattoos have raged the market since last year, and the new technique is worth trying. Many companies have come up with their own lip tattoos and I acquired this knowledge just recently when I purchased my first ever lip tattoos online from Facebook page Beauty World at a discount rate. The thrill of experimenting with these babies is honestly very deep-seated, which only a makeup lover can comprehend. And now after constant pressing from my friends, who are earnestly waiting for a review, I have finalized my say over Romantic Bear WOW Long Lasting Lip Color.

 



Price

I purchased 3 lip tattoos for the price tag of PKR 1000 from the Facebook page
Beauty World.

Full Name and Shades

These are called Romantic Bear WOW Long Lasting Lip Colors and are originally available in 6 different shades. The colors I possess are;
1.     Lovely Peach
2.     Sweet Orange
3.     Cherry Red

Packaging

These are cute little colorful looking tubes with caps depicting the tattoo color inside. Each tube contains 15 grams of the product. When you remove the cap, you’ll see the detachable slanted tip applicator. The applicator is good for easy application.

Scent/Texture

It has a bit of scent in it, though not so strong and it vanishes, once the liquid dries. The texture is a thick sticky liquid, exactly like any peel off face mask and spreads over comfortably.

 



Usage

This part is rather exciting but then it solely depends on a person’s mood as well. However, I enjoy applying the tattoo on my lips by pressing the tube slightly and as the sticky liquid comes out, coat it evenly on my lips taking care not to go beyond the natural lip line and remember to save your teeth from getting stained too. After that, wait for 10-15 minutes for it to completely dry out. Then gently peel off the dry layer and beneath it you’ll discover a natural hue, enhancing your looks. You can even use a lip brush to apply the product, however do wash your brush right afterwards.

Shade Description

1. Lovely Peach

This is a pink color and imparts a light natural pink tone. I only wish this shade was a bit deeper.

2. Sweet Orange

This color proved to be a mistake to buy because it leaves behind a very ugly yellowish orange shade that looks exactly like a faded mehndi (henna) stain.

3.     Cherry Red

My go to color as this tattoo passes on a natural red tinge that seems so genuine, providing an instant perk to the face. I wish I had bought the other red as well, called the Sexy Red.

My Thoughts

I adore these lip tattoos and after researching, found out about Berrisom Lip Tint Pack, now on my wish list. So, coming back to my thoughts, I think this product is a must try for all women. The product isn’t drying and the pleasure in peeling off and then seeing the color beneath should be anticipated by every female. Although the application is indeed messy and one has to wait for it to dry but still, I love it. It is going to be awesome for summers when you already feel sticky and don’t wish to go for any lipsticks, lip crayons, lip glosses, etc., but these will prove to be really useful at such times. Another advantage is that you can even put a lip balm over it to give your lips some extra shine, especially if you don’t prefer a matte look. 

The most important advantage is its non-transferability and long staying power. The color remains intact for 5-6 hours, unless you indulge yourself in gruesome eating and drinking. Apart from the pros, I disliked one thing which is the uneven color it leaves behind, i.e., your upper lip will get a lighter shade than the lower lip. Moreover, the color tends to be brighter in the inside of lips, rather than the outside. Not to worry though, grab a tissue and blur out the lower lip tinge, smack the lips together and you’ve got an even shade now. 

 



Recommendation

I would certainly recommend these to anybody but if you do plan to invest in lip tattoos, buy the original Berrisom Lip Tint Pack. It is bound to have a better formula, color choice, and staying power. I would have purchased Berrisom, if they had been available at that time and now, they are.

Would I Repurchase?

Most certainly I will, but not this brand. I want to try the Berrisom Lip Tints.

      Wouldn't recommend this product. Sadly I bought the 6 colors expecting to love them. All I can say its that it was very sticky, my lips were tingling (unpleasant feeling), when I removed the peel, it hurt my lips. The color barely lasted about an hour (didn't eat or drink). The day after my lips feel dry and irritated. Save your money. Do not torture your lips!!!

    I love stained lips. It looks sleek and sexy! I just stated using BeneTint. It's great that you can use lip balm over it, mostly you cannot do that when you apply such formulas.

    Great review. I have bought Berrisom pack from Bia' cosmetics and they seems exact similar as these and i agree they are bit uneven on lips but i am in doubt that they were not original. I will post my review soon though.
