There are certain people around you who just have it. These people either possess a sensational personality or are stunning to look at, whatever the case; these people have the potential to gain a positive response from others, sometimes even undue favoritism. How are they able to do that and are they able to carry on this charisma, throughout their lives? How do those feel, who lack in any such trait?

The fact is that for centuries, women have been attracted to beautiful men and men to pretty women. All this is genetically present in us that we humans get attracted to good looks and appearances. Our birth advantage has become our artistic penchant. That is why this is a world of ‘Existence of the Loveliest.’

Rewards of Beauty

If you question average looking people they might tell you that beauty is unjust. That’s because of the numerous benefits beautiful people gain, without having the required merit.

1.   Attractive people get higher salary.
2.   They also have more chances of getting hired than a plain looking person.
3.   Beautiful people have more chances of getting promotions.
4.   They definitely have an edge over others because they hear minor penal verdicts.
5.   Plus these beauties are able to get loans easily.

Due to such unfavorable circumstances for average looking folks, there’s been an irrational race for beauty snatching by everyone in some way or the other. The cosmetic surgery has spread like wildfire, and there’s been an alarming rage in the beauty product marketing.

The Jealousy

Why do we, ordinary looking human beings feel jealous of those who are attractive? If we see an athlete who shows off his skills, we seem to have different feelings then. We admire such talents but our reaction after seeing a beautiful person is totally diverse. The seeds of envy grow up into a full bloomed plant and that’s because despite the women’s slogan of ‘Women Empowerment,’ beautiful looks remain the benchmark of success, for both men and women.

In such conditions, you have to focus your mind towards constructive beliefs. Consider the reality that beauty icons last for a short time only, and then you can only depend on your inner strength to survive further. This does not, however, mean that we should give up on the struggle of looking better and presentable.

The Reality

According to a research, we get attracted to the ones we really love, without them being beautiful either. The thing that attracts us towards our dear ones is the inner bond we have developed with them, like parents love and adore their children, despite them having plain features. The sole reason is that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, and there are certain factors that influence this cause. Most important thing to note is that beauty is skin-deep. That’s why we persuade people to look after their hair, skin, and physique. These are three main features that build a striking persona.

Final Words

Before finishing off, let me clearly state that physical beauty is for a very brief period, whereas a person’s real beauty only lies in his/her character and the experience he/she has assimilated with all its deficiencies. No other entity can compete with your lifetime triumphs.

Do you envy or admire beauty?
